Before the Last Petal Falls

In Disney’s animated version of “Beauty & The Beast”, the characters need to get something done before the last petal falls from an old and heavily guarded rose. They are playing a game of beat-the-clock — a tricky game considering they need to fall in love before time runs out.

It’s an interesting metaphor for yogis — do we live each day like a game of chase, rushing to check this or that box? Or do we live each day recognizing that time itself is a gift to be cherished? Before the Last Petal Falls is a hand-drawn original sketch created for yogis who cherish each and every moment.
