Laguiole Traditional 12 cm Knife Olive Wood

The Laguiole Traditional 12 cm is the quintessential size for the classic French folding knife. Substantial and perfectly balanced, the 12 cm size makes this model an ideal folding steak knife, allowing you to bring the precision and elegance of French cutlery to any dining table. This model features an individually hand-filed spring, with the artisan carving unique patterns into the steel. Because these spring tops are all individually filed and unique, no two knives share the same decorative work, making your knife a one-of-a-kind masterpiece of functional art.

Individual Photography: Because Olive Wood is a natural material celebrated for its high-contrast, swirling grain and distinct marbling, no two handles are alike. The knife pictured in these photos is the exact one you will receive. This ensures that the specific grain movement and golden character you select is precisely what enters your collection.

Handle Character: This model is adorned with genuine Olive Wood (Olivier) scales. Sourced from the Mediterranean, Olive Wood is legendary for its density and its spectacular, oily grain. It features a warm, honey-colored base dramatically marbled with dark, wavy streaks and irregular "ink" spots. Beyond its visual beauty, the wood is naturally oily and highly durable, providing a smooth, comfortable grip and a pleasant, subtle fragrance. This timeless material perfectly embodies the rustic and sun-filled spirit of the French countryside.
