Wall Mounted Bathroom Grab Bar 67 cm, 130 kg Rated White Chrome

Getting out of a bath takes four movements, and the hand that steadies you has to travel with you through all of them.

What Are the Key Features of This 67 cm Grab Bar Rated to 130 kg?

• 67 cm makes it a rail: your hand slides along it through the whole movement of standing up and is never clamped to one point that ends up at the wrong angle.
• Rated to 130 kg: that rating is for the assembly once installed, so the wall and the fixing count toward that number as much as the bar does.
• Long enough to mount three ways: horizontally along a bath, vertically beside a shower, or diagonally where the movement is a rise.
• White chrome, corrosion and wear resistant: a non-porous finish that soap film and limescale do not hold to, and that a wet hand grips better than bare polished metal.
• One fitting for a household of different heights: a long bar does not have to be positioned for one person, so it works in a shared family bathroom.

Where Can You Mount This 67 cm Bathroom Grab Bar?

• Along the side of a bathtub
• Beside the toilet
• On the side wall of a shower
• Along a stairway
• In a laundry room, or anywhere a wet floor is crossed by someone unsteady

Why Choose a 67 cm Grab Bar Rail Over a Short Grab Handle?

• 130 kg describes the assembly and says nothing about your wall: a fixing in tile over hollow block fails long before a steel tube does, so confirm your wall construction can carry it before installing.
• Who needs it: pregnancy, recovery from surgery, an unsteady visitor or a wet floor at night all call for something to hold.
• Also for a stairway or laundry room: the same bar suits anywhere a wet floor is crossed unsteadily.

Material & Build

• White chrome finish: Chrome is the plated surface and white is the colour over it. Corrosion resistant, wear resistant, non-fading and rustproof.
• Core metal: not confirmed. Only the chrome finish is.
• Confirm the fixings and wall construction before installing: the load rating depends on the fixing.

Dimensions

• 67 x 7 cm: the length your hand travels along, and the tube.
• The projection from the wall decides the knuckle clearance behind the bar.

Colours

• White chrome: the finish and colour of this bar.
